Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Angelica, and I'm thrilled to be your therapist on this journey of self-discovery. I completed my master's at Rutgers University, where I was exposed to a wide range of therapeutic approaches that I've since used to support people in reaching their goals. My passion for helping others led me to serve in many settings, including detox/residential programs for those struggling with addiction, and IOP/Outpatient settings for people working through emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and stress management.

My approach to therapy

With the wealth of experiences I've had, I've gained valuable insight into the healing process. My focus is on fostering a positive and holistic environment, helping you find balance in your life. I draw from several therapeutic modalities, such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, where you are the driver of your journey. By utilizing a diverse set of tools, I tailor sessions to best serve your needs.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our sessions. Building rapport is essential to me, and I'm genuinely interested in hearing your story. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and cared for. Trust is the foundation of our relationship. With compassion, open-mindedness, and kindness, I'll be by your side as you explore and learn more about yourself. My mission is to empower you to achieve your goals and create lasting change in your life.
