Great to meet you!

I am a first generation Guatemalan and Mexican American. Seeing the patterns of trauma and abuse in my community inspired me to become a therapist. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and healing childhood wounds. My training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents, and Play Therapy.

My approach to therapy

As your therapist my goal is to create a nonjudgmental, safe, and empowering space for you. I incorporate humor and empathy to help you be more vulnerable and work on changing behaviors that are keeping you stuck.

What you can expect from me

During our first meeting we will discuss what brings you into therapy and what your goals are. I will do my best to help you feel safe and comfortable.
