As a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, I am passionate about helping individuals who feel anxious, depressed, disconnected, or overwhelmed find their way back to their authentic selves. Whether you're experiencing social anxiety, depressive symptoms, navigating a major life transition, or struggling in your relationships, my goal is to help you reconnect with your inner strength and create meaningful change. I began my journey in the counseling field in 2006 as a LCDC-Intern, then LCDC and have continued to work in the helping field in one capacity or another, since that time.

My approach to therapy

I offer individual therapy for adults, both in-person and virtually, with an emphasis on creating a warm, collaborative space where growth can happen naturally. My approach is person-centered and draws from Ecotherapy, Mindfulness focused-CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Theory/ACT, Narrative, and Solution-Focused methods, blending structure with curiosity, compassion, and authenticity.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you can share a little bit about why you are seeking therapy and what you hope to gain working with me. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. I am kind and compassionate, but also direct and authentic. I will warmly meet you wherever you are in your journey while also inviting you to grow and change. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
