Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in both education and medical social work. I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology at Texas A&M College Station and my Masters of Social Work at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a concentration in Direct Practice with Latino Ind/Fam/Gr.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent three years teaching middle school, which strengthened my ability to connect with individuals across different developmental stages and meet people where they are.

I also have years of experience as a medical social worker in the NICU and Cardiac ICU at a Childrens Hospital, supporting patients and families through some of life’s most challenging moments. My clinical experience includes working with grief and loss, postpartum adjustment, chronic illness, family stress, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I have a particular passion for women’s mental health and creating a space where women feel heard, validated, and supported. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and judgment-free environment where you can better understand yourself, navigate difficult experiences, and build a life that feels authentic to who you are. You are the expert of your life and I would love the privilege to help guide you through it.

Whether you are navigating motherhood, grief, chronic illness, relationship or family stress, anxiety, depression, or simply feeling overwhelmed by a season of change, I would be honored to support you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you, understand your experiences, and learn what brings you to therapy. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to support you in reaching the goals that matter most to you. We’ll discuss important history, establish goals together, and create a plan for moving forward. Most importantly, I want therapy to be a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can bring anything to the table and be your authentic self.
