Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Angelica and I am a licensed clinical social worker for the states of Colorado and Illinois. I have been a therapist since 2015. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Angelica es bilingue en Espanol.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am a firm believer of implementing evidence based practice in order to develop appropriate treatment for individual needs. I love using metaphors and basic terms to explain concepts to clients. I believe developing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship is essential in order for a client to create positive change.

What you can expect from our first session

Psychotherapy sessions are client center. I also provide psychoeducation and skills. I provide strength based and constructive feedback. At the end of our session a client will develop their own individualized plan of what skills he/she will implement during the week and how to assess the progress.
