Great to meet you!

My name is Angelica Ventresca, and I’m a licensed mental health professional with over 16 years of experience working with individuals and couples navigating life’s most difficult emotional challenges. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore what’s holding them back, gain clarity, and move toward meaningful change.

I earned my degree from Marywood University and have spent my career helping people facing a wide range of mental health concerns, with a focus on depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and relationship issues. Whether you're struggling with persistent sadness, overwhelming stress, mood instability, or challenges in your partnership, I work collaboratively with you to create a treatment plan that feels right for your goals and needs.

My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and tailored to the individual. I draw from evidence-based therapies while honoring the uniqueness of each person’s journey. If you're feeling stuck or simply want someone to talk to who truly listens, I’m here to help.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and change when given the right tools and support. My role is to walk alongside you — helping you better understand yourself, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop practical strategies to improve your emotional well-being and relationships.

I draw from a blend of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and elements of psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approaches. This integrative style allows me to tailor treatment to fit your unique needs, whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or relational challenges.

Therapy with me is a safe and supportive space where you can speak openly, be met with compassion, and work at your own pace. I value honesty, connection, and the healing power of being truly heard.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling more grounded, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help you gain clarity about your thoughts and emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and build stronger relationships — with yourself and with others.

From our sessions, you can expect to take away:

  • Increased self-awareness – understanding patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
  • Tools to manage anxiety, depression, and mood shifts – strategies that are practical and personalized
  • Improved communication skills – especially in your relationships or couples work
  • A deeper sense of emotional balance and stability
  • Validation and support – feeling truly seen and heard in a safe, nonjudgmental space
  • A sense of direction – whether you’re navigating mental health symptoms, relationship issues, or life transitions

Every session is designed to move you closer to the life you want to live — with more confidence, connection, and peace of mind.
