Great to meet you!

I’m Angelie Desinor, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 5 years of experience helping adults navigate grief, trauma, anxiety, panic, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or are trying to find their footing after a difficult experience or season of life.

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, understood, and free to be yourself. I’ll take the time to understand your experiences, strengths, and goals while helping you make sense of what you’re going through.

Whether you’re working through a loss, healing from trauma, managing anxiety, or simply ready for something to change, we’ll work together to build healthier coping skills, greater confidence, and a clearer path forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, affirming, collaborative, and solution-oriented. I believe therapy works best when you feel supported while also having practical tools to help you create meaningful change.

I draw from Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and other approaches based on your individual needs and goals. Together, we’ll explore the experiences and patterns that may be affecting you while building healthier ways to cope and move forward.

I’ll meet you where you are, honor your unique experiences, and support you in taking realistic steps toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and explore what you hope to accomplish. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen to your experiences, and create a supportive space where you can share at your own pace. We’ll begin identifying your goals and what meaningful progress could look like for you.

My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and confident that you have someone in your corner as you take the next steps.
