Great to meet you!

I work with adults via telehealth in Illinois and New York, allowing flexibility while maintaining a consistent structure for care.

I value clarity, structure, and open communication. My work focuses on brief, focused therapy designed to help you make meaningful progress in a defined number of sessions rather than remaining in open-ended treatment.

My style is direct yet supportive — a space where you feel heard and respected while also being gently challenged to take an active role in change. Many clients come to me when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or navigating a life transition and want practical strategies, not just a place to vent.

I believe therapy works best when expectations are clear from the beginning so we can use our time intentionally and effectively.

My approach to therapy

My approach is structured, collaborative, and goal-focused. Together we identify clear priorities for therapy and develop practical strategies you can use between sessions.

Because I offer brief therapy, we focus on the most relevant concerns and work toward meaningful change within a targeted timeframe. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies, while tailoring each session to you as an individual.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on making sure this approach is a good fit for you. We’ll clarify your goals, discuss how brief therapy works, and create a clear plan for what we want to accomplish together.

To keep expectations transparent:

  • Therapy is short-term and typically scheduled weekly
  • I provide individual therapy only (no program coordination)
  • I do not complete legal, disability, or accommodation paperwork (I can provide a letter confirming attendance with 14 days’ notice)
  • Clients needing long-term or specialized treatment may be better served by a different level of care, and I’m happy to help guide referrals when appropriate.
