I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Sonoma County with six years of clinical experience working with young people and families. I've worked across a range of settings including intensive residential treatment, county behavioral health, and outpatient care, and I bring that breadth of experience into my private practice. I specialize in working with preteens, teens, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, identity, family conflict, and life transitions. I also work with couples on a private pay basis.
My approach is psychodynamic and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, family systems, somatic approaches, mindfulness, expressive arts, and play therapy. I believe healing doesn't always happen through words alone, especially with younger clients. I work holistically, bringing curiosity, humor, and warmth into every session and tailoring my approach to what each person and family actually needs.
The first session is mostly about getting to know each other. I want to understand what brought you in, what's feeling hard right now, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. For family sessions, I want to hear from everyone in the room. There's no pressure to have it all figured out. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and having a sense of whether we're a good fit.
