She will help you navigate through these issues and develop goals for you to gain the skills needed to face what you think you can't handle.

My approach to therapy

Anggie takes a positive and holistic approach to therapy, it's important to find balance in life. She takes a holistic and trauma-informed approach.

Some of the modalities she utilizes are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Proccessing Therapy, Trauma-informed care, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process trauma events, and Gottman (couples therapy).

What you can expect from me

During our first session I will make sure to start building a therapeutic relationship by showing empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard.

I will begin explaining the counseling process, confidentiality, and what the client can expect from sessions. I will ask about history, including the main reason they are seeking counseling now, along with identifying goals for therapy based on client’s needs and input such as what do they hope to achieve in therapy to provide support.
