Angi Watkins

I am licensed in Texas with 10 years of professional work experience. I have worked in schools with children since 2006, and I have worked directly with clients in agencies for the past two years. I hold a Bachelors of Arts from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a Masters of Science in Counseling from the University of Houston in Clear Lake. I am a fully Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & intimacy related issues. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

I believe in a client-centered, solution-oriented approach to therapy. I integrate Behavior and Reality Therapy into my approach with clients, and I maintain unconditional positive regard with my clients.

Clients will get honest feedback and perspective from their therapy sessions. They will set short-term and measurable goals in sessions, and feel welcomed into a warm and open-minded environment. Clients will feel comfortable, they won't feel judged, and they will know that they are in a safe space to share.
