Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Angie Botero Castro, LCSW, and I’m a bilingual therapist who loves creating a warm, supportive space for clients. I know how tough it can be to feel overwhelmed or stuck, and I’m here to help you feel more grounded and understood. My goal is to meet you where you are and work together towards your goals. I earned my master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Connecticut and am committed to providing compassionate, personalized care.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, and daily stressors. I use approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and solution-focused techniques to help clients process difficult experiences, build healthier coping skills, and feel more in control of their emotional well-being. Whether you're facing long-term struggles or day-to-day pressures, I tailor each session to what you need so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and support.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a calm, supportive space where you can share at your own pace. We’ll start by getting to know what brings you in—your experiences, your goals, and what you hope to feel or understand better. I’ll walk you through what therapy can look like with me, answer any questions, and work with you to create a plan that feels comfortable and manageable.
