Great to meet you!

Hi, I am Angie. I am primarily specialized in Trauma and related disorders. I have two evidenced based treatments that I use for children, teens, and adults that present with a trauma disorder of some type. Others receive Cognitive behavioral therapy and have benefited greatly from the help they have received from me.

While I understand that not all will be a good fit with me or the sentiment felt the other way, most will appreciate the support, compassion, and humility by which I operate.

My approach to therapy

My style of counseling focuses on the strengths of my clients and with a focus helping clients gain insight into the change they want.

While I use primarily CBT treatments, I do at times engage patients in referral to external providers or psychiatrists if needed. I will engage patients in support and consultation other times such as working with school districts/teachers.

What you can expect from me

Although seeking a counselor can be scary, unpredictable, or may bring insecurity, one of the rewards of receiving therapy is starting down the path of healing from our worries. I invite you to consider the benefit of starting therapy with me to improve your life in the ways that mean the most to you. When creating a treatment plan with you, your personal goals and needs for therapy will be considered in order to fulfill your wishes to live a fuller and happier life.
