Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, families, and adults across school, community, and clinical settings as both a licensed school counselor and licensed mental health counselor. Much of my experience has been in school settings, supporting children, teens, their parents, and caregivers. This work has given me deep insight into attachment needs and the impact of early life experiences on our adult relationships and self-concept.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a humanistic and Adlerian approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I believe that we are all driven by a desire to belong and find meaning, yet at times, insecurities or limiting beliefs, often rooted in childhood, can get in the way. While this lens informs my curiosity and goal-setting, I take an eclectic approach in session, tailoring techniques and tools to your specific needs. My work is deeply influenced by mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, inner child work, and neuroscience.

What you can expect from our first session

In our first few sessions, we’ll take time to get to know one another and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals and listen closely to what feels most important to you. I’ll also check in regularly to make sure the process feels right for you. You’ll always be invited to share feedback and make this space your own.
