Great to meet you!

Hello! I am Angie, a clinical social worker from Southeast Ohio with 15+ years of professional work experience. I have worked in mental health since 2004. In 2009, I transitioned my work to focus more on individual counseling.

In 2019, I started my work with adolescents and teens. Adding this age group to the mix has certainly brought more satisfaction to my therapy practice.

My approach to therapy

Through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem/self-image, thought disorders, mood disorders, and depression. I work with clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.

What you can expect from me

My counseling style is laid back and client directed. I have been described as relatable, supportive, compassionate, and funny. I believe you have control of your story and your strengths will assist you in overcoming the things that challenge you.
