Great to meet you!

Growing up, I saw firsthand how mental health was rarely discussed or prioritized in my family. That experience inspired me to pursue this profession with the hope of helping change that narrative. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and helping people recognize that they don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Seeking support is a sign of strength, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their journey toward healing and growth. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in meeting each client where they are. I believe that every person’s experiences, strengths, and challenges are unique, so I tailor treatment to fit their individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

A central part of my work involves helping clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that often contribute to stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion while developing healthier ways of thinking, coping, and responding.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support, guide, and empower you as we work together toward your goals. My goal is to help clients leave therapy feeling more confident, capable, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll spend time discussing your background, life experiences, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what’s most important to you, and begin building a foundation of trust.

I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so I strive to create a welcoming and judgment-free environment where you can move at a pace that feels comfortable. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and discuss how we can work collaboratively to support your growth and well-being.
