Great to meet you!

Life can be tough, then add relationships, jobs, school, change, divorce, loss, or trauma; no wonder we all struggle sometimes to find our way. If you or your teen can relate to any of this, then that means you are human! I am a LCSW with 16+ years of experience working with youth, teens & adults in a variety of settings, including private practice, transitional life coaching, group work, schools, juvenile justice, & crisis programs. I especially find it gratifying to work with youth and women.

My approach to therapy

I work from the core belief that our bodies innately desire health and given the space and support, it will naturally lean into wellness. With every challenge in life there are opportunities for a deeper understanding of self, resulting in a better quality of living, deeper feeling of peace and a stronger ability to work through life's curve balls. In my practice I often use approaches including CBT, Mindfulness, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, Client-centered, Strength based and DBT skills.

What you can expect from me

I work with clients to create goals that best support the growth they are desiring. I also support my clients by offering additional insight about patterns, thoughts or behaviors that they may not be noticing. Goals may include, finding direction after change, healthier relationships, increase self-esteem and quality of life, processing loss or traumatic experiences, exploring how trauma, stress or other emotions are held in the body, allowing for all parts of self to be explored and honored.
