Great to meet you!

I'm a South Carolina-based therapist who has spent my career working in university counseling and community mental health. I've sat with people across a wide range of life circumstances: college students navigating pressure and identity, adults working through trauma, family stress, or grief, teens figuring out who they are and how to be. I work with children, teens, and adults, and I bring the same direct, grounded energy to every session. Therapy with me isn't slow or vague. You'll leave with a clearer head and actual tools to use.

My approach to therapy

I draw from CBT, ACT, REBT, and Solution-Focused approaches depending on what you need. That means our work will be practical and goal-oriented: we'll identify the thought patterns, behaviors, or dynamics keeping you stuck, and then build real strategies to shift them. I'll challenge you when it's useful and hold space when you need it. The goal is always progress you can feel in your actual life, not just inside a session.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is just a conversation. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's felt hard, and what you're hoping for. I'll ask questions and listen carefully. By the end, we'll have a clear sense of what we want to work on and a general direction for how to get there. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to — we move at your pace. Most people leave the first session feeling heard and having a better sense of what therapy with me will actually look like.
