Great to meet you!

I am a South Carolina-based therapist with experience in university counseling and community mental health. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals across many stages of life — from college students navigating pressure, identity, and life transitions to adults processing trauma, grief, anxiety, relationship concerns, and family stress. I also enjoy working with teens as they develop confidence, emotional awareness, and a stronger sense of self.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and personalized. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, we will identify the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop strategies that support lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is just a conversation. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's felt hard, and what you're hoping for. I'll ask questions and listen carefully. By the end, we'll have a clear sense of what we want to work on and a general direction for how to get there. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to — we move at your pace. Most people leave the first session feeling heard and having a better sense of what therapy with me will actually look like.
