Great to meet you!

I work with adults who are dealing with the weight of trauma, anxiety, and depression — often all at once. Many of my clients have been managing these things quietly for years before reaching out, and a lot of them have tried other approaches that felt either too surface-level or too abstract. I take a practical, evidence-based approach using CBT and ACT. That means we'll look at real patterns in how you think and respond, and we'll work on building tools you can actually use — not just insight for its own sake. I offer virtual sessions across Florida, which means you can do this work from wherever you are most comfortable. I'm in-network with several major insurance plans, so for most clients, the financial side is more manageable than they expected.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy — two of the most well-researched methods for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. CBT helps us identify and shift thought patterns that are keeping you stuck. ACT takes a different angle: rather than fighting difficult thoughts and feelings, we work on changing your relationship to them, and getting clear on what actually matters to you. In practice, sessions are conversational and collaborative. I'll be direct when it's useful — I won't just nod at everything — but I bring genuine warmth to this work. Therapy doesn't have to be heavy every single session. We can hold both the hard stuff and the momentum forward.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly a conversation — I want to hear what brought you in, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to get out of this. I'll ask some questions to understand the bigger picture, but I won't pressure you to share more than you're ready to share. By the end, we'll have a clearer sense of what we're working toward and whether we're a good fit. There are no forms to fill out while we talk, no pressure to commit to a treatment plan on day one. Most people leave the first session feeling a little lighter just from having said things out loud that they've been carrying alone. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
