Great to meet you!

Hi, and welcome! My name is Ann, and I'm a therapist who works with clients who are highly conscientious and feel pressured to keep it all together. As someone who’s also wired this way, I understand how exhausting it can be to mask your emotions, constantly scan for mistakes, and struggle with feeling misunderstood. I support college students who push themselves to excel but quietly struggle with focus, burnout, and a tough inner critic. I also work with folks in recovery from substance use who are learning new ways to express their emotions, trust their intuition, and build meaningful relationships.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, I help clients recognize their unhelpful coping strategies and outdated narratives with compassion. I specialize in Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), a therapy for people who struggle with overcontrol, perfectionism, and disconnection. We'll build skills to support a life that feels flexible, aligned, and meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a collaborative, thoughtful conversation. We’ll talk about what brings you in, why therapy hasn't helped in the past, and begin making sense of the patterns that keep you stuck. There’s no pressure to share everything right away. We’ll go at a pace that feels manageable.
