Great to meet you!

With over 35 years in healthcare, my professional path has been rooted in on central thread: walking alongside individuals during meaningful, often vulnerable moments. My early career as a nurse practitioner and midwife allowed me to support women’s and families through birth, transition, change and even death - experiences that deeply shaped my understand of emotional resilience, attachment, and human connection.

In the past four years, I have expanded this foundation into psychotherapy as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Today, I bring both advanced clinical training and lived experience into my work, offering thoughtful, relational and insight-driven care. I value environments that are collaborative, integrative, and grounded in human connection.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, experiential, and insight-oriented. I believe meaningful healing occurs not only through understanding one’s story intellectually, but through experiencing safety, connection, and emotional awareness within the therapeutic process itself. my work is grounded in attachment, nervous system awareness, and the belief that many patterns develop as adaptive responses to earlier life experiences.

Drawing from both my background in healthcare and psychotherapy, I work collaboratively with clients to deepen self-understanding, strengthen emotional regulation, and support more authentic and connected ways of living. I value creating a therapeutic space that is thoughtful, grounded, compassionate and attended to the whole person.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel supportive, grounded, and focused on understanding what has brought them to therapy at this point in their lives Ives. Together, we begin exploring patterns, experiences, and challenges while identifying meaningful goals for health and growth.

My hope is that clients leave the session feeling heard, understood, and encouraged by the possibility of deeper self-discovery and lasting change.
