Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Ann and I am an LMFT. I received my master’s in Psychology from Brandman University in 2017. I have been working in the mental health field as a certified Substance Abuse Counselor and a Clinical Social Worker for many years prior to licensure.

I am well versed in addressing a wide array of the types of problems that bring people to seek therapy, including but not limited to addictions, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, pain management, life transitions, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a therapeutic approach tailored to the specific needs, circumstances, and life challenges of each individual or family. I do not believe in a cookie cutter therapy, or a one size fits all approach. We are all unique individuals and I like to help each client shine their own light. I believe in a person-centered approach grounded in acceptance and support. My style is eclectic and integrative including the best of CBT, Solution Focused, Family Systems, and Psychodynamic therapies.

What you can expect from me

I enjoy helping individuals and families struggling with issues varying from mental health and addiction to relationship or family problems, stress, bereavement, emotional pain, abuse, and more. I am dedicated to helping others improve their quality of life by guiding them on the road to self-awareness, acceptance, and recovery. I like to focus on resolving specific issues, regaining confidence, and decreasing suffering thus leading to a healthy, happy, and more productive and enjoyable life.
