Great to meet you!

If you are here seeking help, congratulations. That decision takes more courage than most people realize, and I want you to know I take it seriously. My work centers on adults and older adults who are tired of carrying the weight of addiction, depression, or anxiety without real support. I have spent more than 17 years working across a range of settings and populations, with a deep focus on substance use and the ways it so often shows up alongside depression and anxiety

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best as a true partnership. We will build a plan together that fits your actual life and your goals, not a generic checklist handed down to you. I will listen, support, and challenge you in equal measure. Whether you are working to break free from a substance that has taken more than its share of your life, find solid footing after a long stretch of depression, or quiet the anxiety that never seems to let up, our work will stay focused on real and lasting change. The people who tend to do well with me are ready to show up honestly, even when it is hard

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will invite you to share what has brought you here and what you are hoping things look like on the other side. We will begin to name your goals and what progress means for you. From there, our sessions build on one another, and every few sessions we step back to review how things are going and adjust course as needed. If any of this sounds like what you have been looking for, I would love to hear from you. Reaching out is the hardest part, and you have already done it.
