Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's degree in Professional Counseling and over 18 years of experience working with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and deeply client-centered. I believe that healing starts with feeling truly seen and heard, so I create a space where you can safely explore your feelings, gain new insights and discover your own inner strengths. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, person-centered therapy and solution-focused techniques-always adapting to what feels most supportive and meaningful for you.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my calming presence, genuine curiosity and ability to gently challenge unhelpful patterns while offering compassion and hope. My goal is to help you not only understand your struggles but also build practical tools to navigate life's ups and downs with greater resilience and self-compassion.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy gardening, painting and spending time with family and my pets - creative practices that keep me grounded and remind me of the healing power of connection and creativity.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply person-centered. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a safe, non-judgmental space where you can truly be yourself. Together, we gently explore your thoughts, feelings, and life experiences to gain insight, uncover patterns, and cultivate self-awareness.

I integrate evidence based techniques to help you develop practical coping skills and foster resilience. At the same time, I value creativity, humor and compassion as tools for healing, growth, and reconnecting with your authentic self.

My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered, so you can move forward with greater clarity, self-acceptance, and hope.

What you can expect from me

Clients often leave sessions with a greater sense of clarity, self-understanding, and hope. You can expect to gain practical coping strategies to navigate life's challenges, along with deeper insight into the patterns and beliefs that may be keep in you stuck.

Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to your authentic self. My hope is that you leave each session feeling truly heard and supported-and more empowered to make choices that align with your values and well-being.

Over time, many clients notice increased self-compassion, healthier boundaries, improved emotional regulation and the confidence to face life's ups and downs with greater calm and perspective.
