Great to meet you!

As a therapist with twenty+ years of training in psychoanalysis, I have listened to people with all types of problems and symptoms. Speaking with someone who listens and helps you understand the complicated patterns in your life story will empower you to resolve many of your difficulties.

I have a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and am a Clinical Social Worker. I went on to train as a psychoanalyst, have a private practice, and teach at various psychoanalytic institutes.

My approach to therapy

I believe psychoanalysis and psychotherapy offer the best long-term solution to your problems. We work together to find how the threads of your life are unknowingly woven into your current situation, causing conflict and pain.

All persons and genders are welcome to my practice. I work with those struggling with relationships (including sexual issues/trauma), who wrestle with creative blocks, and those who find themselves stuck on a path of unhappiness without knowing how they got there.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to find a safe place to speak and open up about your problems without fear of judgment. You are not alone in your difficulties.

Working together gives you time to reflect and to give yourself the attention you need to heal and discover your inner capacities and desires.
