Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I have been a counselor for 7 years. I really enjoy helping moms, new parents, kids, and teens. But I also have experience working with adults struggling with trauma, death, loss, anxiety, ADHD, and boundaries/relationship issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work from a person-centered approach. I believe clients are to decide what to explore and how. Additionally,I also believe in educating clients and teaching real skills. I offer options such as mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, CBT skills, or filial therapy/play therapy, and interpersonal effectiveness tools.

What you can expect from our first session

Psychoeducation is the foundation of many of my sessions. To me, it is important to equip clients with tools that can make them feel more empowered and confident in challenging situations and managing/understanding their own symptoms.

This is why during our initial sessions we will identify attainable and specific goals and I will introduce you to some helpful strategies that can help you reach your goals.
