Great to meet you!

Welcome, I'm Anna. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a therapist, I bring a calm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental presence to the work I do with my clients. I believe that each person’s story is unique, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, challenges, and strengths.

I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s individual needs.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is collaborative and strengths-based, drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet clients where they are. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in developing distress tolerance and emotional regulation skills; Narrative Therapy to help individuals re-author stories about their lives and identities; and Person-Centered Therapy to create a warm, nonjudgmental space that honors each client’s autonomy and wisdom. I incorporate Motivational Interviewing to strengthen motivation for change, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thinking patterns. Mindfulness practices are used to build present-moment awareness and self-compassion, while family systems approaches help explore relational dynamics and intergenerational patterns. I also use solution-focused techniques to highlight existing strengths and support clients in identifying practical steps forward. Throughout my work, I maintain a deep respect for cultural values and practices, ensuring that therapy remains inclusive, relevant, and culturally responsive.

In our sessions, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you are met with empathy, curiosity, and respect. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, meaning we’ll work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

You can expect:

  • A safe, welcoming environment where your story is honored without pressure or judgment.
  • Personalized, evidence-based care, drawing from modalities like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches—tailored to your unique needs and goals.
  • Active collaboration, where we regularly check in on what’s working, what’s not, and adjust our path as needed.
  • Practical tools and insights that you can use between sessions to support real-life change and emotional growth.
  • A focus on strengths, resilience, and helping you reconnect with your values and inner resources.
  • Cultural sensitivity and humility, where your identity, background, and lived experience are respected and integrated into our work.
