I utilize an eclectic, person centered, strengths based approach to my clinical social work practice. I am a direct and inquisitive therapist. I focus on making sure my clients feel comfortable and heard in our therapy sessions.
We will start an intake assessment and I will ask you questions about what brings you to therapy and your life history. I will ask about your symptoms and their duration. I will ask about your strengths as a person and I will inquire about your goals for therapy. Sometimes it will take more than one session to complete your intake assessment and that is perfectly fine! Throughout your healing journey I will work with you to support you, partner with you, and provide you with the tools you need to heal. We will walk this healing journey together, using your strengths to help you reach your goals.
