Hello, I am Anna. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in private practice since 2013, and I graduated with my MSW in 2006. I specialize in anxiety and panic disorders, Bipolar and mood disorders, Life transitions, LGBTQIA+ needs and Women's issues. I welcome all types of relationship dynamics in my sessions.
I utilize a holistic , person centered, strengths based approach to my clinical social work practice. I also try to use humor as much as possible when it's appropriate in my sessions, just because it's therapy does not mean it has to be super serious all the time. It you are looking for a funny, quirky, therapist who doesn't take herself too seriously then we will get along well.
We will perform an intake assessment and I will ask a bunch of questions about your past, present, and future. I will ask about your symptoms and their duration. I will inquire about your goals for therapy and your strengths as a person. Sometimes it will take more than one session to complete your intake assessment and that is perfectly fine!
