Great to meet you!

I graduated with honors from Mercy University (formerly known as Mercy College) with a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I consider myself to be a supportive, non-judgmental, creative, inclusive and gender affirming therapist with a focus on children, teens, young adults and college students. Much of my experience is with the younger population -- helping them to navigate the challenging times throughout their development, manage optimal mental health, and establish the confidence in discovering their true potential and authentic selves.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My commitment is to provide a safe and accepting environment for my clients to explore their feelings while working on developing their own goals and establishing the skills and strengths to move forward in their therapeutic work.

Goals may include relieving troubling symptoms, establishing effective coping skills, improving relationships/communication with family and peers, developing problem solving/conflict resolution skills, navigating sexuality and/or gender identity, and gaining a greater sense of awareness that empowers young people to live an authentic and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients will take away a greater sense of self, increased confidence, assertiveness skills, coping strategies to tackle difficult situations, and the ability to manage any troubling symptoms they may be experiencing.
