Great to meet you!

Hola! I’m Anna Espericueta, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in San Diego, CA. I specialize in helping individuals navigate depression, maternal mental health, stress management, anxiety, grief and loss, infertility, women’s issues, and major life transitions.

I believe that you are the expert of your own experience, and my role is to walk alongside you—offering guidance, empathy, and practical support. Whether you’re adjusting to motherhood, coping with loss, or feeling overwhelmed by change, my goal is to help you find balance, clarity, and renewed hope. Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but it starts with taking the first brave step.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, direct, and grounded in compassion. I tailor therapy to what works best for you, drawing from Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused approaches. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect—and how small, intentional shifts can create meaningful change.

I believe growth happens in safe, nonjudgmental spaces, where you can show up exactly as you are. My focus is on helping you learn new ways to manage stress, find calm in the present moment, and strengthen your emotional well-being. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all; it’s a collaborative process where we work together to uncover what you need most right now.

What you can expect from me

My communication style is nonjudgmental, calm, and casual. I truly enjoy getting to know each person I work with and building a strong, trusting connection. During our first session, you can expect me to listen closely to what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to focus on. We’ll set goals that align with your values and adjust them as we go, ensuring that therapy continues to meet your needs.

My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and empowered—with practical tools to help you manage challenges between sessions and a growing sense of confidence in your ability to navigate life’s ups and downs.
