Great to meet you!

My name is Anna Grabarczyk (grah-bar-chick). European-born and raised, I bring over 12 years of clinical experience.

I provide therapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families. While I offer both in-person and telehealth services, I find that couples and family therapy often benefit most from the depth and connection that in-person sessions can provide.

I specialize in treating:

  • Anxiety disorders — excessive worry, fear, panic, and stress that interfere with daily life.
  • Depression and mood-related concerns — persistent sadness, hopelessness, low motivation, and loss of interest or enjoyment.
  • Trauma and stress-related disorders — including intrusive memories, flashbacks, nightmares, and persistent rumination.

Because mental health concerns often overlap, treatment is tailored to address the unique combination of challenges each individual experiences.

I also have a special interest in supporting clients navigating:

  • Life transitions and major life changes
  • Family and relationship difficulties
  • Career stress and burnout
  • Multicultural family dynamics
  • Immigration and acculturation challenges
  • Low self-esteem and self-criticism
  • Self-blame and perfectionism
  • Boundary-setting difficulties
  • Separation and divorce
  • Empty nest syndrome
  • Aging and later-life concerns
  • Spiritual or religious questions and distress

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive, helping clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is engaging, action-oriented, and solution-focused, while remaining grounded in compassion and empathy. I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and strive to integrate broad psychological and cultural perspectives into therapy. With deep respect for each person's beliefs and values, I thoughtfully address the spiritual dimension of emotional healing when it is meaningful to the client.

What you can expect from me

The first session is not about solving everything right away. It’s about starting a conversation, building trust, and creating a safe space where meaningful change can begin. You are always welcome to ask questions, express concerns, or share feedback about the process. We will work as a collaborative team, but when needed, I am direct and challenging.
