Great to meet you!

You can understand a problem clearly and still find yourself living it. You may know what you think, what you should do, and why the reasonable advice has not changed how the situation feels. I work with adults who want someone who can recognize what matters, say what she sees, and think with them at the level the problem requires.

My approach to therapy

I am interested in why something still makes sense somewhere in you, even when another part of you is ready for it to change. I ask precise questions, make connections, and tell you what I am thinking. We stay close enough to what is happening now that the hour is immediately useful, while understanding enough of the larger picture that the same difficulty does not simply return in another form.

What you can expect from me

You leave with a more accurate understanding of what is happening and a more useful way of responding to it. The hour changes how you approach the conversation, decision, or relationship in front of you, while what you understand continues to be useful long after therapy ends.
