Great to meet you!

Dr. Loney's passion is working with individuals going through life transitions, grief/loss issues, relationship and attachment concerns, and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. She believes in continuously striving to challenge herself, whether as a friend, partner, family member, psychologist or triathlete. Outside of therapy, she spends time outside with her family and dogs. Dr. Loney holds her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

My approach to therapy

Every client is unique with unique needs and Dr Loney utilizes techniques and skills from solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical behavior therapy (among others) for the process of self-discovery and to help change relationships with habits of thinking, feeling, and behavior. She is dedicated to compassionately caring for others, warmly listening, understanding, and joining with them to find healing and solutions to their suffering.

What you can expect from me

Dr. Loney views the therapeutic relationship as a microcosm of the clients’ life, creating a safe and warm space for self-discovery, evaluating patterns of how one engages with self and others, guides in new skills to cope with stress, and creates a non-judgmental place for developing self-compassion and meeting goals of change.
