Anna Marie Houston-Jacobs

I am Anna Marie Houston, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working in California. I have experience with individuals ages 3-80 years old. I have worked in community mental health settings, schools, and in Forensics for most of my mental health career. As a therapist, I tend to have a warm yet energetic approach, am client led, but also practice gentle directness to support in growth and change.

I am a client centered therapist who utilizes the following modalities; CBT, DBT and Psychodynamic. I tend to gravitate toward reflection and connection

I generally set goals at the start of therapy to support in navigating your treatment and desired outcomes. I chose to be flexible, as life changes, to best support your needs in therapy.
