Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Anna Mullins—a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), and Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT). I’m passionate about helping individuals reclaim their lives from the effects of trauma, addiction, and emotional pain.

My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approach that honors your resilience and personal story. I integrate evidence-based practices such as relapse prevention, motivational enhancement, and DBT skills to support sustainable healing and growth. I work with adults navigating substance use recovery, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and life transitions, and I meet each client with compassion, authenticity, and respect.

My professional journey includes working in substance use treatment centers, offering equine-assisted psychotherapy, and facilitating trauma therapy groups. I earned my Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University and have continued my clinical training in trauma and addiction treatment.

Above all, I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Reaching out for support is a courageous first step, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate your path toward healing and wholeness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I view therapy as a partnership—you're the expert on your life, and I'm here to walk beside you with clinical insight, tools, and support.

I specialize in trauma and addiction recovery, using a trauma-informed lens to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing can happen. I draw from evidence-based modalities like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based interventions. Whether we’re building distress tolerance skills, exploring inner parts impacted by trauma, or working on a relapse prevention plan, I center our work around your goals and values.

I believe that growth happens when we feel seen, heard, and empowered. My role is to help you reconnect with your inner strength, uncover patterns that no longer serve you, and build a meaningful, healthy life—one step at a time.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect to gain practical tools, deeper self-awareness, and a renewed sense of hope. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space where you feel comfortable being your authentic self—no judgment, just compassion and collaboration.

Together, we’ll work on developing healthy coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, and building a more grounded and fulfilling life. Whether you're navigating recovery, healing from trauma, or simply seeking personal growth, we’ll move at your pace and celebrate every step forward.

Clients often leave sessions feeling more equipped to manage challenges, more connected to their values and strengths, and more confident in their ability to create lasting change.
