Great to meet you!

I'm an LCSW with over 15 years of experience — most of it in high-stakes settings like crisis intervention, trauma treatment, and institutional care. That background gives me a level of clinical depth that I bring into every session, whether I'm working with a 7-year-old who's struggling at school or an adult navigating complex trauma that's been with them for decades.

One thing that sets my work apart: I use biofeedback-informed and somatic approaches to help clients understand how stress and trauma actually live in the body — and how to shift those patterns at the nervous system level, not just the cognitive level. This makes therapy more concrete, more measurable, and often more effective for people who've felt stuck.

My approach to therapy

I don't use a one-size-fits-all model. Depending on what you're working through, I might draw on IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT, CBT, attachment-based therapy, somatic techniques, play therapy, or brief solution-focused approaches. The method always follows the person — not the other way around.

My style is warm, direct, and genuinely curious about what makes you tick. I'll challenge you when it's useful, and I'll always meet you where you are. If you've tried therapy before and felt like it didn't quite land, I'd encourage you to try again — the approach matters as much as the work itself.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mostly about me getting to know you. I'll ask about your history, what's bringing you in now, and what you're hoping life looks and feels like on the other side of this work. You won't be pushed to share more than you're ready to.

By the end of session one, you'll have a clearer sense of whether we're a good fit — and I'll have enough to start building a real plan with you. Most people leave that first session feeling at least a little bit lighter, just from being actually heard.
