Great to meet you!

Beginning therapy can take courage, and finding the right therapist is an important part of that process. I’m a compassionate, licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) who strives to create a space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and explore what brought you to therapy without judgment. My hope is that you feel comfortable being open and honest as we work together toward meaningful change. I have advanced training in trauma recovery, EMDR, expressive arts therapy, and somatic, body-based approaches. I’m especially passionate about helping adults gently explore difficult emotions, reconnect with themselves, and find meaningful ways to heal. My approach is collaborative and intuitive, and I believe there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. My background in sociology also shapes the way I practice. I value each person’s unique lived experiences and strive to provide culturally responsive, inclusive care for people from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and people with disabilities. I look forward to getting to know you and working together to create a therapeutic experience that feels safe, supportive, and uniquely yours.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends clinical expertise with a compassionate, creative perspective to support healing on multiple levels. I recognize that difficult experiences can affect not only our thoughts and emotions, but also how we experience our bodies. Because of this, our work may move beyond traditional talk therapy to help you process experiences that can sometimes feel difficult to put into words. I believe healing begins with feeling seen, safe, and supported. I tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals, drawing from evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. Depending on what feels right for you, we may use EMDR to process traumatic experiences, expressive arts to explore emotions and experiences creatively, or somatic approaches to develop greater awareness and connection with your body. My goal is to walk alongside you as you process the past, reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and develop a deeper understanding of who you are. Together, we can work toward greater confidence, balance, hope, and a more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, talk about what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll meet you with warmth, curiosity, and without judgment. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, explore your experiences, and feel genuinely heard. I believe healing is not a linear journey, but it is a collaborative process that looks different for everyone. You can expect me to walk alongside you at a pace that feels comfortable, while providing guidance, encouragement, and clinical support along the way. Together, we’ll work toward processing the past, reconnecting with yourself, building resilience, and developing a deeper understanding of who you are. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in your daily life, with greater confidence, balance, and hope for the future.
