Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Anna! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with nearly 10 years of experience and degrees from Marshall University. I specialize in anxiety disorders, including OCD, panic disorder, phobias, and generalized anxiety, and I’m passionate about providing affirming, supportive care for the LGBTQ+ community. My style has been described as warm, open-minded, and solution-focused. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, accepted, and empowered - a place where we can work together to navigate life’s complexities, identify solutions, and create a path toward joy, fulfillment, and authenticity.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is never one-size-fits-all, so I take a creative, flexible approach personalized to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. I meet you where you are and trust you to be the expert of your own experiences. While I bring warmth and compassion to our work together, I also help you challenge unhelpful patterns and step outside your comfort zone. I’m proactive about checking in on your progress, adapting our approach, and providing personalized resources and optional exercises to support your growth between sessions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, explore what brings you to therapy, and discuss your goals. I’ll explain the treatment modalities I use and the specific interventions I recommend for your needs so you know what to expect and why. We’ll also discuss your preferences and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past so I can tailor my strategy. You'll be welcomed to ask me any questions you might have so that you feel comfortable and informed.
