I’m Anna J. Tivade, a licensed clinical social worker and founder of The Centered Path. I graduated in 2018 from Rutgers with my MSW and have post-graduate training in Bowen Family Systems from Rutgers. I specialize in working with adults and couples who are navigating relationship challenges, family conflict, parenting struggles, identity journeys or life transitions.
My approach is rooted in family systems therapy and integrates trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and—when it resonates—spiritual and intuitive practices. I help clients explore how intergenerational patterns and past experiences influence the present, while creating space for growth and healing.
Clients often share that they feel seen and supported in our work together. My goal is not to “fix” you, but to provide a grounded and compassionate space where you can gain clarity, begin to observe your own emotional functioning, strengthen your relationships, and find a more centered path forward.
