Great to meet you!

Greetings! My name is Anna Ward and I have been a practicing clinician for over a decade. I have worked in private practice, in a group home and worked for a non-profit counseling center. At this time I operate on my own in a private practice setting doing most of my counseling virtually. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and my Masters of Art from Argosy University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Counseling which is used to treat many diagnosis blending more cognitive behavioral approaches with mindfulness techniques.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is one of collaboration between the client and I. I will use a gentle yet directive approach as it is my duty to help a client grow and progress in the areas in which they have stated desire for change or peace in.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm welcome as we begin our journey of establishing our relationship. Of course the first session will be a lot of information gathering but with ease and less-rigidity as we get our relationship and work started! I hope and have been told, I am quick to put one at ease.
