Great to meet you!
Hi there! I work with adults, couples, and children who are looking to have a genuine connection with their therapist. My approach in therapy is relatable, holistic, person-centered, and deeply compassionate. I value humor, recreation, and play for healing! I am a very flexible therapist, and value accessibility of care for all clients. Cultural humility and trauma informed care is central to every part of our therapeutic relationship.
Identity factors: I am a childhood foster care graduate, a Native American clinician, and am a member of the LGBTQ community. I use English, American Sign Language, and Spanish in clinical care. I do specialize in BIPOC mental health, immigration stress, work stress, trauma/burnout, and building community.
Education: I have 12 years of professional experience in the mental health field. I have two bachelors degrees from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign (UIUC) in health science and clinical-community psychology, and two masters degrees from UCLA in public health and social welfare. I have extensive experience working with individuals impacted by incarceration, immigration violence, domestic violence, and homelessness. I apply my education to administer integrative and holist treatment plans that aim to increase quality of life and decrease the overall impact of trauma, chronic illness, and mental health concerns. I target Mental health, Physical Health, Relational Health, and Financial/Work health together!
