Great to meet you!

Recovery doesn't happen all at once. Whether you're struggling with substance use, anxiety, trauma, or the emotional weight of life's challenges, taking the first step can feel overwhelming. You may be tired of feeling stuck, carrying guilt, or wondering if lasting change is really possible. You don't have to navigate that journey alone. For more than 20 years, I've partnered with individuals experiencing substance use and addiction and anxiety, helping them rebuild confidence, strengthen resilience, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives. I believe meaningful healing begins with feeling understood, supported, and empowered, and my goal is to provide a compassionate space where lasting recovery and personal growth can take root.

My approach to therapy

Together, we'll explore the experiences, emotions, thought patterns, and behaviors that have shaped your life while identifying the strengths you already possess and developing practical tools that support lasting recovery and emotional wellbeing. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to help you better understand yourself while creating healthier ways of responding to life's challenges both inside and outside of our sessions. My approach incorporates Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Person Centered Therapy, and Psychoanalysis because every client deserves care that is individualized, evidence based, and centered around what will be most helpful for their unique goals. Together, we can work through PTSD, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), emotional regulation, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, and substance use recovery, while building practical strategies that continue supporting your growth long after therapy ends.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a therapist who brings compassion, honesty, and more than two decades of experience helping people navigate recovery and emotional healing. I'll meet you with empathy and encouragement while helping you recognize your strengths, celebrate your progress, and move through setbacks without judgment. Whether you're working toward recovery from substance use, healing from trauma, managing anxiety, or simply hoping to regain a greater sense of peace, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you while building practical tools that continue supporting your wellbeing long after therapy ends. My hope is that you leave each session feeling stronger, more hopeful, and confident in your ability to move forward.
