Great to meet you!

Four decades. That's how long I've been doing this work — and I mean that not as a resume line, but as a promise. Over forty years of sitting with people through the things that crack a life open: the identity shifts that come with midlife, the isolation that quietly builds, the grief of a body that's changed, the exhaustion of caregiving for someone else while your own needs go unmet. I bring deep expertise in depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and the complex emotional terrain that emerges as life evolves through its stages. I specialize in working with adults — particularly women, caregivers, and individuals facing chronic health challenges or major life transformations — who are navigating chapters of life that often go unacknowledged and underserved. If you've ever felt like the world was moving too fast while you were standing still, wondering who you are now and what comes next — this is the practice that was built for you.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person arrives at therapy carrying more inner strength than they realize. My job is not to hand you answers — it's to create the conditions where you can find your own. My approach is warm, deeply collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that no two people experience even the same life event the same way. I work with the full texture of what you're living through: communication breakdowns, workplace stress, feelings of isolation, shifting personal identity, the emotional weight of caregiving, and the quiet ways that chronic illness or life change can erode your sense of self. Together, we'll explore those inner resources you may have lost sight of, build coping strategies that are genuinely yours, and move toward a life that feels more purposeful and connected. After forty years, I've learned that resilience isn't something you find — it's something you remember.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel the difference between being listened to and being truly heard — because those are not the same thing, and I have spent a lifetime learning the distinction. Our first session is unhurried and judgment-free. I won't rush to categorize you or solve you. I'll want to understand your world — the relationships, the pressures, the moments that have shaped you, and what's brought you here right now. My goal for that first conversation is simple: that you leave with a sense of being seen, perhaps more fully than you expected. That's where everything else begins. And after four decades, I can tell you with confidence — the work that starts here is worth it.
