I am a licensed clinical social worker providing secure telehealth therapy in both English and Spanish. With over 20 years of experience walking alongside families and individuals during times of challenge. My background includes working in schools, hospitals, immigration support organizations and community based programs.
I help people find solutions both outside and within themselves to gain self-awareness, learn regulation skills and reach their goals. I have specialized training in pregnancy and postpartum mental health conditions and welcome new parents to work with me to adjust to this exciting but also challenging stage of life. Additionally, I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Trauma and Grief Component therapy for Adolescents and welcome clients coping with a traumatic event or events. Grief and anxiety are also areas of special knowledge and training for me. I offer a welcoming warm style focused on practical evidence-based solutions for my clients.
In the first session I will assess your current strengths and challenges with easy natural discussion. Together we will create initial goals and set a plan for the work going forward together.
