Great to meet you!

My goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where you can gain a better understanding of what is keeping you stuck and help you make the changes necessary to overcome obstacles to live a more creative and fulfilled life. I'm interested in building a strong alliance of trust and support in order to collaboratively tackle the obstacles that are preventing you from thriving. I'm a sex-positive, and social-justice-oriented therapist engaged in using open, direct, and empathetic communication.

My approach to therapy

My approach is narrative, relational, and collaborative. I use different modalities depending on the area of concern and particular needs of my client. I aim to help each person hone and develop skills for improving relationships, find new ways to cope with stress and anxiety, rediscover joy and pleasure in their lives, break negative and self-destructive patterns, increase career satisfaction, and find a stronger sense of self and personal worth.

What you can expect from me

I attempt to create a safe and supportive environment for self-exploration. I always seek to minimize guilt and shame and maximize autonomy and insight. I collaborate with each client to identify obstacles to self-actualization and find ways to minimize symptoms and meet individual goals.
