Great to meet you!

By the time many people reach therapy, they have already spent a lot of time trying to figure themselves out. They have thought about it from every angle, talked it through with people they trust, read the books, listened to podcasts, and still found themselves wondering why things have not quite clicked. I am a Licensed Psychologist who works with adults navigating trauma, identity and cultural concerns, anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, and life transitions. My goal is to help you better understand the patterns that have shaped your life and find ways of moving forward that feel more true to you.

My approach to therapy

My work is informed by evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, ACT, and CBT, but I do not follow a specific formula. Rather than immediately asking how we fix something, I am more interested in understanding how your experiences have shaped the ways you think about yourself, relate to others, and respond to the world. Once those patterns begin to make sense, you have more choice in deciding which ones still serve you and which ones you want to change.

What you can expect from me

I explain what I am doing and why, share what I am noticing, and invite your perspective along the way. I approach therapy as a collaborative process where we make sense of your experiences together. In our first session, we'll begin making sense of what has been feeling difficult, stuck, or unresolved. I look forward to seeing if we're a good fit.
