Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty five years of experience helping adults navigate relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and the complexities that arise throughout different stages of life. I also treat clients who are interested in personal growth and development. My practice is designed for individuals who are seeking thoughtful, personalized therapy and who value a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.

As a clinician, I believe that one of the most important components of psychotherapy is having an atmosphere which is supportive, patient, validating and compassionate. I approach my patients with integrity and a commitment to help you create a higher quality of life that resonates with your authentic self. I believe that meaningful change occurs within the context of a strong therapeutic relationship. I offer a warm, attentive, and collaborative space where clients can slow down, reflect, and explore patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we work to uncover underlying issues, build insight, and develop lasting strategies for growth and emotional well-being.

My approach is integrative and tailored to the unique needs of each client. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, I take the time to understand your history, strengths, values, and goals. Whether you are facing a current challenge, navigating a major life transition, or seeking greater fulfillment in your personal relationships, therapy can provide an opportunity for meaningful and lasting change. I help clients gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and create more authentic and satisfying lives.

My approach to therapy

I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Alliant University in Berkeley, California. I have also completed extensive group therapy training at the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society in New York and completed certification in the areas of PTSD, trauma and grief counseling.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the needs of each client. Grounded in psychodynamic principles, I also utilize modalities such as dreamwork, mindfulness, body-based, and cognitive/behavioral therapy. I help clients reconnect with their authentic selves, build self-trust, and gain clarity about their goals and relationships. My style is compassionate, insightful, and interactive, offering a safe space for self-exploration while also providing practical tools for change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, trauma, and life transitions. Together, we address current difficulties while exploring deeper patterns that may contribute to their distress.

Whether you are seeking healing, personal growth, or relief from emotional challenges, my goal is to help you create a more fulfilling and emotionally healthy life.

What you can expect from me

I understand that starting therapy can feel both hopeful and intimidating, and I strive to create a warm, safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship.

During our initial session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I will also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and other important aspects of your life to gain a deeper understanding of your experiences and needs.

The first session is not only an opportunity for me to learn about you, but also for you to determine whether I am the right fit for your needs. Therapy is most effective when there is a strong connection and sense of trust between therapist and client. I welcome your questions about my approach and what therapy with me may look like.

By the end of our first meeting, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how we might work together, as well as an initial sense of the goals and areas we may focus on moving forward. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the possibilities for growth and change.
