Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years of counseling experience with adolescents and adults. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas, and I received both my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

I have post-Masters training in trauma and disaster response, and I am a Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor. I am a member of the American School Counselor Association.

I work with women in all stages of life, including college students balancing school and personal growth, adults navigating career transitions, and those facing major life shifts. Whether you're managing the demands of parenting, dealing with the emotional impact of divorce, transitioning into a new career, or trying to find your balance, I am here to help!

My approach to therapy

As women, we navigate complex and sometimes overwhelming transitions—whether it's managing the demands of parenting, the emotional upheaval of divorce, adjusting to aging, or facing the stress of career changes and academic pressures. Life can feel like a lot to handle at once, and sometimes we need extra support to find our way through. If you’re feeling anxious, stressed, or uncertain about the changes in your life, you’re not alone. Together, we can create a compassionate and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Let’s work together to help you embrace your next chapter with confidence. The client-therapist relationship is an integral part of effective counseling. My approach is assisting clients in the work of gaining insight, making change, and creating the futures they desire for themselves. In doing so, I may utilize elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, and other therapies as appropriate. I am qualified to administer assessments, diagnose, and create an appropriate plan to meet and provide treatment that addresses the unique client’s needs.

What you can expect from me

Everyone’s journey is unique. I’m here to help you uncover your strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and find a sense of peace. Taking the step to reach out for therapy is a powerful act of self-care and courage. I’m here to support you through the process. If you're ready to start this journey or have questions, I invite you to reach out. I know that you are trusting me with your time, your story, and your journey in counseling. I look forward to working with you as you take steps to healing, discovering strengths, and learning more about yourself. Together we will tailor each counseling session to create the best fit for your journey. As we set goals together, you become an integral part in your next steps forward.
