Great to meet you!

After twenty years working with children as an elementary teacher and counselor, I began a new and related profession as a Licensed Professional counselor working in a counseling agency as a therapist. At present, my clients consist of adolescents and adults. I've been working in this setting for the last 16 years. I look forward to meeting each new client as a partner in the therapeutic journey.

My approach to therapy

I work with adolescents and adults to navigate life's challenges Including depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship concerns and major life transitions. My approach is warm, supportive and collaborative.I also utilize EMDR therapy to help clients process traumatic experiences and reduce the impact of depression,

I want to provide a safe environment where clients feel heard, understood and empowered. Together, we will work together to identify goals, build coping skills, process difficult experiences and foster resilience and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first few sessions, you can expect a supportive, non judgmental environment where we will begin getting to know each other. We will begin to know each other and work on your concerns, your personal history and then develop a plan tailored to your needs. As we build a strong relationship, we will explore strategies to help manage difficulties and increase resilience in order to move toward the life you want.

I am committed to provide compassionate guidance to support your healing and well being.
