Great to meet you!

My name is Anne Schwab. I know first hand that starting a therapeutic journey can be scary. Change is hard, and often daunting, but staying stuck in your pain is worse. I'm here to help. I have spent the majority of my career as a therapist working with adolescents in residential treatment and their families. Now, I'm broadening my scope of practice to the community at large.

My approach to therapy

I strive to ensure that therapy is a safe space for clients to explore themselves through their struggles and emotions. Emotions can be intense at times, but they are an essential part of what makes us human. I take a holistic approach to treatment in that I look at the client from all aspects of their life to help them set goals, build their toolbox for healthier functioning, and grow as a person. I teach you the how, then you take those tools and build your life!

What you can expect from me

It's not my job to tell you how to live your life. Clients are and need to be the driving force of their own treatment. You come to me with what you want to work on, why it's impacting you the way it is, and I give you tools to make change. It's that simple.
